let down

The Land is Holy – noam keim

I wanted to like this book; lately I’ve hoped to find writing about our generational relationships with the land, the practices we’ve lost and the ones that have been painstakingly preserved. I thought this book would have some deep history and analysis, but mostly I found the images in it were dull and the research seemed to only skim the surface, with the narrative not helping too much to keep me invested. I’m let down by a book that seemed to have such an interesting scope and instead felt limited. Will take a few days to digest and revisit and see if I find anything new, but otherwise I don’t think I’ll pick up this book again.

Say hi!
